ABOUT
My passion for art and design started in kindergarten as a young child growing up in Guadeloupe. I recall drawing faces using crayons for contour lines and multi-color dots for decorations using markers. My mother attributes my allure to art to the frequent museum visits she made while pregnant with me.
My formal art education began in 1990, when my parents migrated to the U.S. to live in Boston, MA. I enrolled at Madison Park Technical Vocational High School, under the Commercial Art program. There, I received hands-on training in drawing and design. Not only did my passion for art intensify, but so did my confidence, as I was recognized by the teaching staff and my peers for the quality of work submitted. I went on to further my design education at Bunker Hill Community College, where I earned an Associate’s degree. I expanded my education with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Graphic design, from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
I've had the pleasure of working with multiple individuals and corporate clients throughout the Boston area. The scope of projects produced over the past ten years has allowed me to develop an efficient workflow, which has yielded successful results under tight timelines. They say one of the greatest compliments one could receive is a referral; I've built my brand based on this model, generating new business, while maintaining a recurring customer base, due to satisfied clients.
My specialties include, but are not limited to, logo, stationery, flyer, brochure and banner designs, as well as vector illustrations. I currently serve as the Teen Director and In House Graphic Designer for the Boys & Girls Club of Woonsocket, RI. Feel free to reach out for any project inquiries. It is my pleasure to connect with you and bring your design needs to life!
